From performing classical music as a kid to writing and producing songs as a teen and adult, Cody Piper has been actively involved with music throughout his entire life. At age five, Piper began studying classical piano at the Carnegie Mellon Music Preparatory School after being inspired and encouraged by his grandfather, Anthony Bianco, who played the double bass in the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for fifty-five years.
Despite Piper's early introduction to music, however, it wasn't until his teenage years that he became fully immersed in pop music and discovered his true passions: songwriting and producing. From that point on, Piper spent time writing songs, learning new instruments (namely guitar, bass, and drums), and experimenting with music production in order to prepare himself to record and release his own music. In early 2019, Piper finally accomplished this by releasing his debut single "It's Only You," which he produced and recorded entirely in his bedroom. Shortly after, Piper followed up with the summer release of Bygones - a six-track debut EP consisting of some of the earliest songs he had written or recorded. He continues to write and record music as a solo artist using his pop, rock, and classical influences.
