Come on inside! We’re bringing the Parade’s high-energy highlights in from the cold weather and extending the fun from 7:30 – 9 pm.
Get ready to celebrate "Love, Peace, Pittsburgh" at the New Year's Eve Parade, led by artist and Pittsburgh icon Randy Gilson, creator of Randyland, who will serve as honorary Grand Marshal at Highmark First Night Pittsburgh 2018!

This 24th annual New Year's Eve Parade will be packed with performance groups and loaded with artistic surprises, including the traditional art cars and signature giant puppets from Studio Capezzuti. There’s simply no other parade like it. You can find a great view of the parade on either side of Penn Avenue running through the entire Cultural District. It starts David L. Lawrence Convention Center at 8 pm and ends after turning right on Stanwix Street toward the Allegheny River.
Watch for community members from your neighborhood marching in the parade! Neighborhood Parade Workshops, led by Studio Capezzuti, were held in Braddock, the Hill District, McKees Rocks, Oakland, and downtown in early December. Volunteers came together to create many of the parade's decorations and were invited to march with their creations in this annual arts-focused tradition.
